ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has stressed upon the need of to strengthen regular and institutionalised party relations between PTI and Communist Party of China (CPC) and said that people of both countries enjoy all weather friendship.
He stated this while speaking to CPC International Department delegation led by Assistant Minister Li Jun which called on Imran here on Wednesday. Welcoming the delegation, Imran appreciated the achievements and development of China in short span of time through people friendly policies. The chairman apprised the delegation about his party’s perspective regarding China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) mentioning that the less developed provinces of Pakistan should also reap the benefits of development.
Li Jun invited the PTI chairman to visit China which he accepted with thanks. The visit will provide an opportunity to understand Chinese model of success and interaction with Chinese leaders on matters of mutual interests.
The two sides agreed to further strengthen and deepen party to party relations and exchanges at party level. Later Imran presented the party flag, emblem and souvenirs to the visiting delegation.
