SWAT: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Thursday claimed to have foiled an attempt by Afghanistan-based militants to carry out a terror act in Shangla and Swat. On a tip off, the CTD raided a hideout in Shangla where several militants had holed up and plotting a major terror attack in coming days. The CTD also recovered 10 kilograms of explosives material from them. The suspects were shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigations.
